Experience
Design Director, Endurance Group, 2016 – Present
Visual lead for Bluehost, reporting to the VP, Brand & Creative and partnering with cross-functional teams throughout the company and across the country. Performed as a “working manager,” serving as both lead art director on all major creative campaigns while also overseeing day-to-day team performance. Directed the visual design for TV campaigns; online video advertising on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram; digital advertising; customer communications; front of site web design; live events and activations; and more. Conducted visual exploration, culminating in the creation of new brand guidelines and new website for Bluehost.
Associate Creative Director, Constant Contact, 2005 – 2016
Lead a team of designers and developers within the internal creative agency. Worked on everything from national TV campaigns to daily email promotions designed to help create category and brand awareness, drive business growth, and position Constant Contact as the leader in email and online marketing for small businesses
Interactive Designer, Verizon, 2004 – 2005
Worked with the Concept Design and Development Team to explore and prototype new concepts that will expand the possibilities of Verizon’s technologies. Participated in usability research and developed wireframes based off of findings. Designed user interfaces for TV, websites and touch-screen devices.
Freelance Designer, 2003 – 2004
Redesigned and deployed a new corporate intranet for Wellington Management. Designed and produced interactive learning tools and games for Thomson Publishing’s Course Technology. Produced multi-media tutorials for Verizon’s Enterprise Systems Group.
Lead Website Designer, AdTools, Inc, 1999 – 2002
Responsible for the creation of rich-media marketing tools. Designed and maintained a network of consumer entertainment e-card web sites. Produced campaigns for clients such as: Disney, Nasdaq, Sony Motion Pictures and Warner Home Video.
Web Designer, US Direct, 1996 – 1999
Designed, built and maintained custom web sites for a number of regional and national brands, including ABC’s Monday Night Football and Subaru of New England.
